One Proclaimer was taken to Uganda and played in a small village. After hearing the New Testament in their own language, one villager remarked with wonder: "We did not know God was Ugandan!"

Imagine how people's receptivity to the gospel soars when they realize "God" is not from the other side of the world. Instead, they discover he knows them intimately and speaks their language.

Such is the experience of more people in the poorest of countries. Recently, workers in one of these countries, India, requested 225 Proclaimers for remote villages. These devices can give hope to the lowest castes, to the "untouchables," to abandoned widows, and to other desperate and hopeless people.
